Detailing an Audi the right way
Audi interiors combine several materials in a small space: Valcona or Nappa leather, Alcantara, brushed aluminum, open-pore wood, and large glossy touchscreens. Using one all-purpose product on everything is how surfaces get streaked or dulled.
Interior considerations
- MMI and Virtual Cockpit screens: cleaned with a screen-safe spray and a fresh microfiber so the anti-glare coating is not harmed.
- Alcantara and suede-like surfaces: brushed gently and cleaned lightly — they should never be soaked.
- Matte and open-pore trim: we avoid shiny dressings so matte trim stays matte.
- Leather: cleaned and conditioned to keep it soft.
Exterior considerations
- Wheels: many Audis wear large, intricate wheels that collect brake dust in every spoke. We take time on the barrels and lug areas.
- Matte or satin trim pieces: cleaned without wax or polish, which can leave blotchy spots.
- Paint: hand washed and protected. Optional Ceramic Spray Paint Protection adds slickness and helps water bead.
