Tesla Detailing in Richmond, VA

Tesla paint is known for being soft, and the interiors use synthetic leather and a lot of glass. Here is how we care for them.

Why Teslas need a careful touch

Tesla owners often notice that their paint marks easily. Vegan (synthetic) leather seats, especially white ones, can pick up dye transfer from jeans. And the large glass roof shows every water spot.

Interior considerations

  • White and black vegan leather: cleaned with a gentle cleaner made for synthetic leather to lift dye transfer and grime without harsh chemicals.
  • Center screen: wiped with a screen-safe product. We suggest turning on Car Wash Mode or screen cleaning mode first.
  • Frunk and trunk: vacuumed and wiped down — included with interior work.

Exterior considerations

  • Soft paint: hand wash only, with plenty of lubrication to keep new marks to a minimum. No automatic brushes.
  • Glass roof: cleaned inside and out for a streak-free view. Water spots can usually be reduced.
  • Aero wheels and covers: cleaned carefully around plastic covers and edges.

Recommended packages

The Glow Package ($299) is the most popular all-around choice. If your paint shows swirls, Buffing & Polishing ($600) reduces swirls and light scratches. Light-colored interiors with stains do well with Deep Interior Restoration ($199).

Tesla detailing FAQ

Can you detail my Tesla while it is charging?+

Usually yes, as long as we can safely reach the area we are working on.

Do you put Teslas in Car Wash Mode?+

We ask you to enable it, which locks the windows and turns off wipers and sensors that could react to water.

Can you remove dye transfer from white seats?+

Light to moderate dye transfer usually comes out. Older, set-in stains may only lighten.
