Interior Detailing vs. Deep Interior Detailing: What's the Difference?

Both clean your cabin, but they are built for different levels of mess. Here is how to choose.

Two levels of interior cleaning

A standard interior detail is maintenance: it brings a reasonably kept car back to clean. A deep interior detail is restoration: it targets stains, ground-in dirt and lingering smells.

What a standard interior detail covers

Our Signature Interior ($149) focuses on:

  • Thorough vacuuming of seats, carpets and mats
  • Wiping down dashboard, console, door panels and vents
  • Cleaning interior glass and screens
  • Light spot cleaning

It is a good fit if you get your car cleaned regularly and there are no major stains.

What a deep interior detail adds

Deep Interior Restoration ($199) goes further:

  • Shampoo and hot-water extraction of carpets and cloth seats
  • Leather cleaning and conditioning
  • Interior steam treatment for vents, seams and hard-to-reach areas
  • Attention to stains, spills and built-up grime

Which should you choose?

Choose standard interior if…

  • Your car is cleaned every few months
  • You mainly need dust and crumbs removed

Choose deep interior if…

  • It has been a long time since the last detail
  • You have kids, pets or visible stains
  • You are selling the car or just bought a used one

Some situations need an add-on on top: Pet Hair Removal, Strong Odor Treatment or Heavy Water Extraction.
